I Die Without You

Subject: I Die Without You Fri Jan 21, 2011 4:24 am

Mimi sat on the edge of her bathtub shivering violently as she coughed. She was going through withdrawal alone, since Roger had gotten angry after he found out about her dinner with Benny. Not only was there that, but it was early October and her weakened immune system was battling with the different colds and viruses in the air this time of year. There she was suffering in her bathroom alone.........

Roger sighed as he slowly opened the door to Mimi's place, he was still a bit angry but he was also worried nobody had seen Mimi for a few days and he wanted to check on her. He walked thru the apartment but he didn't see her, as he turned to leave he heard a noise for the bathroom. He opened the door "Mimi!" he gasped softly as he saw Mimi shivering.

Mimi looked up when she saw Roger in the door way. "Roger....." Mimi said hoarsely, before she went into another coughing fit.

"Oh Mimi." Roger whispered softly as hurried over and gently picked her up , he could tell she had a fever.

"I know Mimi i know." Roger said gently as he carried her out of the bathroom.

Mimi moaned and rested her head on Roger's chest, coughing roughly as he carried her.

Roger carried her thru the the apartment and sat on the couch, holding her close.

Mimi sat in Roger's arms, her knees pulled to her chest, shivering violently. Part of her wanted to go to the ally and get something to stop the pain, but she knew Roger would be angry.

Roger held her close "Shhhh Mimi its going to be ok." he whispered softly.

"It was hard but i had Mark to help me just like you'll have me to help you." Roger said softly.

Mimi nodded slowly. She looked up at him through hazy brown eyes. "Roger?" she said softly. "I love you."

Mimi closed her eyes and started to drift off in Roger's arms. She had to work tomorrow night.....somehow.

Roger held Mimi late into the nite, watching to make sure she was alright.

Mimi awoke mid afternoon with a cough as she sat up.

"How you feeling?" Roger asked gently as he handed her a glass of water.

Mimi shrugged and took the water, taking a drink before she spoke. "Like hell, but I gotta work in a few hours."

"I don't think you should work tonight." Roger said "Your still sick and i don't want you to get sicker."
